Medgar Evers
Medgar Evers, along with his brother Charles, was born in Decatur, Mississippi. During World War II both Medgar and Charles served in the United States Army.
Charles Evers
Charles Evers (b. September 11, 1922) is the older brother of the civil rights martyr Medgar Evers, former head of Mississippi NAACP. Charles introduced Medgar to the U.S.
